It is an unfortunate fact of life - some workplaces are not safe.  With an awareness of the early warning signs of workplace violence, your employees can minimize or eliminate the potential threat.

Violence in the workplace is nothing new - but what is new are companies taking steps to ensure a safe workplace.

Violence can come in many forms:

• A disgruntled employee
• A dissatisfied customer
• A stranger

Depending on the type of job and your personal work situation, your employees are at more or less risk from each of these types.

To assist organizations in providing a safe and productive workplace, NHCG Inc. has developed a complete curriculum for Workplace Violence Prevention - WVP.  The overall objective of this training is to:

• Create an overall awareness of what is and is not acceptable behavior in the workplace
• Be aware of the warning flags for violent behavior
• Take steps to ensure personal safety
• Take actions to eliminate inappropriate workplace behaviors
