Connecticut was the first state to pass specific laws pertaining to training in the area of sexual harassment.  Connecticut's "14 points" are still the most comprehensive set of guidelines on the subject of sexual harassment training.

Since that time, other states have taken steps to establish guidelines for sexual harassment training. 

The common practice for most organizations is to view the most restrictive laws and/or statutes as the "benchmark" for their organization's training initiatives.

NHCG Inc. has done just that, using Connecticut and California as our "benchmarks" for our classroom and online training.
